About me

I started research in Planetary Science in 2012 with a masters' education in geochemistry. In several different projects, I studied organic and inorganic processes in the sediments of large water bodies, using GC-MS, X-ray mapping and sequential extractions. I continued with a PhD at the Leiden Observatory, where I build an experimental setup to study astronomical ice mixtures. Currently, I am working as a post-doctoral researcher at NASA Goddard, applying spectroscopy to exoplanet atmospheres. My expertise lies in spectroscopy and the development of programs to analyze and calculate spectroscopic data.
